Preparing the whole site
The work that happens before the units arrive and after they are installed. It runs on the same contract as the cabins, so there is no second contractor to coordinate.

What we do
- 01Ground compaction and levellingPreparing the ground so it can take the units.
- 02Concrete foundationsPoured to suit the type and size of the unit.
- 03Fencing and gatesSecuring the perimeter of a site or a housing compound.
- 04Asphalt and internal roadsKerbs, paving and surfacing between the units.
- 05Water, drainage and electricsWater and sewage tanks, electrical connection and plumbing.
Price
Does the price include groundworks?
No. Levelling, foundations and fencing are quoted after we review the ground and the location. They are not automatically inside the cabin price.
Roads and paving
Three trades that run around and between the units, each with its own purpose.
Asphalt
Surfacing roads and open areas with an asphalt layer — usually main roads and parking areas.
Gives a smooth surface that takes heavy vehicle loads, and lays easily over long runs.
Kerbstone
Edging pavements, walkways and gardens so traffic and weather do not break them down.
Cast in concrete or natural stone. Used to organise traffic, mark pedestrian routes and protect road edges.
Interlock paving
Paving yards, walkways and car parks with interlocking concrete blocks.
Cement blocks in a range of colours and patterns, hard-wearing against the weather, and a damaged block can be lifted and replaced on its own.
